A manicure is first of all hand care: nails are filed and shaped, cuticles pushed back and cleaned, then the skin is moisturized. Then comes the finish of your choice: classic polish, long-lasting gel polish or a layer of Plexigel to strengthen fragile nails.
Torn between a French manicure, an American manicure or a solid colour? The French manicure draws a crisp white tip over a pink base. The American manicure softens that contrast with more natural tones. Both are done in gel polish, as is subtle nail art. Together we choose the shape, length and shade from a wide OPI palette.
Gel polish, often called shellac after a brand name, is a polish cured under a UV or LED lamp. It does not chip, keeps its shine and lasts three to four weeks. Plexigel is a flexible builder gel that adds a layer of strength to the natural nail: ideal if your nails break or split.
