Waxing pulls the hair out from the root, unlike a razor that cuts it at the surface. Regrowth is slower, three to four weeks, and becomes finer and sparser over time. It is the ideal method for large areas such as legs, back or arms, and for precise work on the eyebrows or upper lip.
I use Dépilève professional waxes: a warm, strip-free hard wax for sensitive areas such as the bikini line, underarms and face, and a soft strip wax for larger surfaces. The wax is chosen for your skin to limit redness and discomfort.
Waxing or an electric epilator? Both remove hair from the root, but wax treats a whole area in one motion, causes fewer ingrown hairs when the skin is well exfoliated, and is done in a studio under strict hygiene. For permanent results, electrolysis remains the answer.
